Gaza's Children

I have very strong opinions on Israel, and mostly keep them to myself because I think it's likely that most people don't want to hear them...and I've been keeping mostly to myself over the last few weeks (ugh...weeks..really!?!?). But I can't anymore.





You know, what's going on over there really is truly disgusting!

According to Democracy NOW!, of the 778 killed over 200 of them are children! (Only about a dozen Israelis have been killed...heard that on CNN yet?) You have to ask yourself if you really can't understand why Hamas would retaliate. While I may not agree with their tactics or philosophy, the people of Palestine believe this to be their duly elected government - and we fly around the Middle East toting Democracy like a shield, but we're going to allow our ally to cause a humanitarian crisis based off disagreement with an elected government?

I found these images this morning and was almost sick to my stomach. I want people to look at them and be sickened. While we sit in our comfortable homes and watch CNN, millions are without power and water and reliable food sources for OVER 2 WEEKS! Because of our ally! It's like Israel is our kid brother and he can do no wrong.

While we abstain from voting on a cease fire and wait for a President who actually has a soul and a backbone to take office, look at the pictures of these children...is it any wonder that they will grown up to resent Israel and anyone who aided Israel in hurting them? Can you blame them?
